Scoring and Results of Competition

The Committee shall issue score cards or score sheets for each competitor. Each score card should have the date and the competitors' name or names. The Committee is responsible for adding and applying a handicap. Scoring results, tee times and pairings should be posted and copies delivered to a designated area or areas for all coaches, athletes, volunteers and media. All scoring shall be in accordance with Special Olympics Golf Rules.

Scoring for each level of competition is detailed in Article IX of the Special Olympics

Upon completion of play, the athletes will report to the designated scoring area to review their scores. Athletes should be taught to keep score and sign their scorecard. Whenever possible in competition, athletes should be encouraged to serve as a marker for a fellow competitor.
