Special Olympics Bangladesh athletes brought home 15 gold medals, 7 silver and 1 bronze medal during the 2nd Asia Pacific Bocce Competition held in Brunei Darussalam, August 19-24, 2008.  With over 32 events, the 11 member delegation comprised of eight athletes, 2 coaches and 1 official.  Special Olympics Malaysia captured the 2nd place by winning 13 Gold. A total of seven countries participated in the competition including China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and host Brunei Darussalam.
