Hello. My name is Muhammad Muhaimin bin Haji Hasbie Azrol. I am 17 years old. I am the fourth child in the family. I have 4 brothers and 1 elder sister.
I first joined Special Olympics in Shanghai. I started my training with my coach every Fridays from 8.00 am till 10.00 am. This means that my father has to drive me all the way from my home town Kuala Belait which is 160km to my training place. My parents are very supportive to Special Olympics.
During the last World Special Olympics games in Shanghai 2007, I was selected to join the event for 100m walk and soft ball throw. I managed to achieve one medal. My parents and my elder brother also came along to Shanghai to give me moral and love support. It was a great experience and I also collected and exchanged many badges with my friends from other countries. In Shanghai, I, my Brunei friends and coaches stayed in a hotel. I enjoyed myself very much in Shanghai. I hope someday I can go to another country to join Special Olympics and be given a chance to be part of it again.
